Hello from Germany.
It has taken me a while to post info in this "about" section. Probably because there is really nothing too exciting to say.
I am originally from the US (Chicago my oft cited "home" city) and am now living/working in Germany (Bavaria).
I have always had a keen interest in photography. Like many before me, I decided to set up this site in order to:
- promote some creative photographic thinking on my side;
- force myself to get out and take some pictures;
- learn some basic HTML; and
- justify the purchase of an awesome, and spendy, digital SLR camera (could that be the primary reason?)
Equipment owned and used:
- Nikon D70
- Nikkor AF-S 18-70mm lens
- Nikon Coolpix 775 (my first digital camera, primarily used when the bulk of an SLR just won't do)
- Nikon N2000 (Film SLR I've had since the mid 80's)
I'll try to update this "about" page a bit more in the future...
